• At first glance, Light's palace doesn't seem to fit the motif of the other palaces. The other targets lived in buildings that are popular targets for Gentlemen Thieves in fiction, such as castles, museums, banks, etc. But Light's is a field of gallows, which isn't the most lucrative locale for thievery. However, a common trope is criminals busting one of their peers out of prison. By infiltrating Light's palace and stealing his treasure, they effectively save Light from himself, freeing him up to join their team later on.
• When the Thieves fight Kira, the recommended music for the fight is Rivers in the Desert rather than Blooming Villain. It's rather fitting, since that music played during the fights with Shido and Yaldabaoth, who, like Light, thought themselves as either God or Chosen by God.
