Fridge Brilliance:

• The reason Cliffjumper lies to Prowl and Chromia about Deathsaurus' crimes and not just tells the truth? Chromia uses the word "legendary" to describe Deathsaurus and if someone with his reputation can do something like this then Cliffjumper likely doesn't know who he can trust with the knowledge of the Probats energon so he lies to protect them.
• Orion's initial portrayal as a Lawful Pushover makes sense when you consider his position, not only did he have to try and placate all the different parties, such as the Reversionists and the Ascenticons, but he wasn't actually in charge, he was just acting as a substitute for Sentinel, and thus needed to act as Sentinel would wish, instead of pursuing his own agenda. By contrast when he became Optimus he was in charge and was only leading the Autobot faction, giving him more freedom to act.
