• Taylor's comment about how it's supposed to be an apple in the first chapter. Apples show up in better known myths more than peaches, such as the Golden Apples of Idun from the Norse myths and the Apple of Discord from Greek myths.
• Piggot is portrayed as strongly disapproving of Taylor. This is not just due to her bias against parahumans — Piggot survived Ellisburg and Nilbog, a terrifying parahuman who thought himself a god. As far as she can tell, Taylor is a powerful parahuman with a projection telling her she is a goddess, so no wonder Emily is uneasy about her.
