• Fridge Brilliance: In Chapter 63, Kendo's uncle is revealed to be Kendo Rappa, one of the Eight Expendables. However, the chapter implies his canon name is a poorly-made alias, since he's referred to as Rappa Kendo. Later, Chapter 97 reveals that Yui's older brother Mugon had been moonlighting as a black market support tech mechanic, operating under an alias to avoid possible reprisal aimed at his sister. Rappa may have done the same thing to keep Kendo out of harm's way when he joined the Eight Expendables, but because of his Dumb Muscle status, the best thing he could do was to simply swap his names around.
• Fridge Horror: The New Power Generations' Chess Motif becomes horrifying when you realize that their Bishops (i.e. the members that are just above pawns) are responsible for the events of Chapters 137-141, which is acknowledged in-universe to be on the level of Kamino Ward. If this is what the NPG's Bishops are capable of, what about their Knights? Their Rooks? Their Kings and Queens?
