In the second season finale, Robin is the only one who is looking forward to going back to America, after she destroyed the statue her father assembled for money. Jared is unsure, as he liked being in Cuba but has a girlfriend back in New York City. However, Nate and Delilah are PISSED that Robin ruined everything and have nothing to look forward to back home: Nate was tricked into a fake job by Robin's father, and is now unemployed again. Meanwhile, Delilah was miserable in New York, as she was unable to make any new friend unlike Jared, and was mocked at a talent show. Between all of that and the mess that Carlos put them through when he revealed that he was Jared's real father, it makes sense that those two don't want to return home at all.
