Fridge Sadness

  • The little girl in the "past" section of "The Preamble", who tries and comically fails to slip a ballot into the box when no one is looking, will never be allowed to vote even when she is older, because, as explained in "Sufferin' Till Suffrage", women couldn't vote until 1920, and this scene clearly takes place within a few years of the ratification of the Constitution.
    • It's just barely possible that she could have voted in Wyoming, if she lived an extremely long life and took advantage of that territory's attempt to attract female settlers in 1869. But probably only once or twice.
