• Mother Holle's children notably are a bunch of blondes and a redhead. None of them are brunette. It's no coincidence that Maria is blonde while her beloved "Hunter" is a redhead. It's almost as though Mother Holle prophetically recognizes that Maria and the Prince are meant to be, rather than the awful (and Maternally Challenged) Mary-Lou.
