Fridge Brilliance

  • You know why Catelyn still detains Tyrion even after Jon's testimony? She never cared about his opinion, why should she care now?
  • Ramsay's mom gets hit with Adaptational Villainy. Considering what Roose did to her, can you really blame her for wanting to hit him where it hurts?
  • Sansa's lack of enthusiasm for the South and the prince's attentions: in canon, she was implied to not really fit at Winterfell, since she was the most refined Stark child, so she would sought something better somewhere else. Here, she's already in love with Domeric and not seeking a better life for herself. Why would she dream about being Queen of the Seven Kingdoms while she could marry the boy of her dreams?
    • She also quickly understands Joffrey is bad news. In canon, she was crushing hard on the prince, so she was in the "crystallization" phase, thinking he was perfect and could do no wrong. Now, she compares Joffrey with Domeric and ends up finding Joffrey lacking, of course.
  • Domeric is very kind to Jon Snow and seeks his company, which seems a little bit strange for a trueborn son of a noble house. However, Domeric longs to have a bond with his bastard brother Ramsay; as a bastard son from a noble house, Jon is his substitute for Ramsay.
  • Kevan's disdain for Renly's self-proclamation as King makes a lot of sense, as he backed up Tywin for decades and respected him and the laws; Renly on the other hand shows flagrant disrespect for both by crowning himself King and taking up arms against Stannis.

Fridge Horror

  • Since there’s no missing Arya Stark, Jeyne Poole is probably in for a very bad time...
    • Fortunately averted. She did get captured by Littlefinger, but when Kevan Lannister arrived he found her and brought her to a safe place, promising to take care of her no matter what. She has since been given back to the Starks, and returned to Winterfell with Sansa.
