Fridge Brilliance
- The cartoonish sounds that the Nomad makes when he gestures aren't actually sound effects, they're probably bells and rattles inside of him due to him actually being an animated scarecrow.
- We find out that the Nomad is actually an animated scarecrow and a few episodes later we learn El Rey can appear as a flock of crows. Looks like it will be Nomad's job to scare crows.
- This would also explain why El Rey has had so much trouble tracking the Nomad down.
- And why he was so afraid of the torch Don Paragon threw at him in the cage—being set on fire is unpleasant for anybody, but it must be excruciating for a being made of straw and cloth.
- Its's unclear whether he can feel pain or not. Though he's still capable to be afraid of destruction, and fire is perfect for that.
Fridge Horror
- Is it enough to simply bury the necromancy book rather than burn it? What if there's a chance someone else finds it?
- Fridge Brilliance: The Nomad is a scarecrow, so he can't safely start a fire as much as put it out. It doesn't change the fact that someone could find it, but it does make the Nomad's action excusable.
