At one point Barnaby Bear accidentally sets the windmill that powers the machine that turns people and animals into harpies backwards, it causes several of the harpies to get sucked inside and it explodes shortly afterwards, during the explosion you can see that the harpies were reduced to skeletons, at the end of the film we see most of the surviving harpies change back into children, so does that mean that those harpies that were killed in the machine were a bunch of transformed children?
