Supplementary material and a special card through out-of-the-way locations in the Dream World reveal that Napping Flies house themselves in the "dreamless darkness" of people's minds and that they gravitate toward people who have slept in the light. This suggests, along with "Bad Dream" (a corrupted dream version of the Warp Garden), that due to sleeping in the sunlight, Ittle herself may have been housing a Napping Fly nest since the first game.
