Fridge Brilliance
  • This kicks in with The Life of Groo. The reason why Groo does have hidden depths (and is not just a dangerous fellow) in the earlier chapters is because both Groo's mother and the Sage attempted to raise and teach Groo with love and understanding instead of trying to get rid of him (like Groo's father), hence why he has some depth and can use bits of strategy.
    • When Battu died via a fat man and collapsed balcony, it at first appears that Groo's curse wasn't affected, but that is not the case. Groo was born with the curse, his inability to think is his natural state, but he can learn things as seen with him learning to read courtesy of Abecedario.
