The reason Ronny wanted to hang out with Mika wasn’t because he wanted to find incriminating photos of her. How could he have known she’d leave her phone with him accidentally? Ronny was planning on stealing Mika’s virginity. He could then tell his friends about it, he’d be the talk of the school (he was already very popular) and what became of Mika’s reputation would be for the other students to decide. It’s just when Ronny was alone with Mika’s phone he realised he had the chance to look through her personal stuff and looked at her private stuff, texts, searches, photos etc. When he found multiple photos of nude Mika, he sent them to his phone. He then posted one of them that had Mika in her underwear only.
How did Ronnie get into Mika’s phone? Surely he’d need a passcode? Mika is shown to be naive, so maybe the passcode was just something very simple (1,2,3,4) for example.
Why didn’t Ronnie face any prosecution or punishment for exploiting Mika? He certainly should have. The teachers at Bannerman are terrified of bad publicity, so they might have turned a blind eye. Or the teachers were entirely unaware because nobody reported it, Mika was very embarrassed and ashamed. Or maybe Mika didn’t bother reporting it because she knew Ronny’s wealthy family could get him out of trouble, or because reporting Ronnie would be incriminating herself seeing as as far as everyone knows, Mika willingly sexted Ronnie without being asked. Ronnie sent the photos from Mika’s phone, so their conversations on texting or other messaging apps could be read by adults, and Mika could be blamed as well. For whatever reason, Ronnie gets away with it until DGM come along.
Mika’s whole situation. First, she’s an unpopular geek desperate to have a boyfriend. She finally thinks a boy likes her: only the next morning after she hangs out with him he shares her nude photos. The boy then accuses her of sending the photo even when he turned her down, and claims she sent him the photo as a way of desperately trying to convince the boy to date her. The boy then leads pretty much the entire student body in bullying Mika: making her skip school and stop hanging out with her friend. Then, said boy gets murdered and has a painful death: plummeting out of his high bedroom window, presumably breaking bones and dying in pain and agony waiting for an ambulance. Then, Mika gets murdered herself and drowns in a reservoir.
As much of an asshole as Ronnie is, his death wasn’t particularly pleasant. He was pushed out of his high-up bedroom window for starters. He must have been scared as he was plummeting to the ground. And oh boy, it must have been painful. He then was alone for ages, in pain and agony. The killer Logan escapes without getting caught which would mean nobody can have seen him escape. A neighbour or someone must have seen him and called for an ambulance, but Ronnie was just lying their helpless. Unable to stand up, probably unable to talk sense due to all the pain. Ronnie then waits for an ambulance to come and when it does, he is still alive! In unbelievable pain, but still alive! The paramedics to everything they can to save him, but nothing. Then, it gets worse when Ronnie’s loving mother finally arrives (desperately yelling for her darling baby boy to see if he’s alright). Only to be told that by then her son is finally dead! She literally just missed him. The son and his parents never got to say goodbye. In fact, Ronnie’s father was working in London at the time. He might have been driving or returning home when he received the call. The sobs and screams of Ronnie’s mother is enough to show the devastation.
Christopher being wrongly framed for two murders. And by his best friend Logan as well.
Christopher was catfished by Ronnie not long ago. Ronny pretended to be a girl online who was dating Christopher. Christopher was completely in love and Ronnie eventually began exchanging sneaky photos. Ronny sent photos of nude female bodies (which Christopher believed was his online girlfriend) and Christopher sent photos of himself in his underwear only, and naked. Not only did Christopher break down when it became clear he was being catfished, but what would have happened if Ronnie was still alive? He’d have probably ended up in a similar predicament to Mika.
Though it would have been well-deserved, if Bree had been able to find dirt on Ronnie (most likely something equal in shame to Mika) like an incriminating photo of Ronnie either in his underwear only or naked, then Ronnie could have been just as bullied and humiliated as Mika. Then again, it’s not like most fans would have sympathised with him and it would have arguably been well-deserved.
If Margot hadn’t escaped from Logan then what would have happened to her? She’d have probably been his third victim.
Cam isn’t seen again after it’s revealed she was sleeping with Coach Creed. This can only imply that Cam moved schools or dropped out for homeschooling due to the trauma.
