• Why are starships still in use considering the existence of transwarp beaming? It is still pretty risky to use, and under normal circumstances would not be used unless the transwarp transporter locks onto another transport pad.
• The first year of World War II was known as the Phoney War, with only minor land skirmishes. A reader not familiar with the history of that era would think that was the "real" history, and wopuld think that Edith Keeler's 1939 cease fire is consistent with real world history.. O f course, the Battle of the Atlantic was very hot, and a cease fire in late 1939 would mean some people would live who should have died, some of who in turn may kill people who should have lived.
