One of the Aborigines in the original film can be seen wearing a kangaroo skin during their corroboree. Could that have been the husband of the kangaroo Dot befriends after getting lost in the bush?
The British Lion statue in Around the World with Dot implied one of his kind ate the Tea Lady at the Houses of Parliament (albeit unintentionally). Even though it is technically Played for Laughs, this means he could have eaten Dot if he hadn't been willing to help her find the missing joey.
Did Bruce the koala from Dot and the Koala and Dot and the Smugglers die from the koala eye disease epidemic during Dot Goes to Hollywood?
If The giant Octopus had never healed Dot of her coral injury in Dot and the Whale. then how would Dot's Family and friends from the previous films ever react to her coral poison death?
One can only imagine the reaction of Dot's friends and family back on Earth when Dot doesn't first return to Earth after rescuing Whyka in Dot in Space, as they may fear that she perished in the explosion due to the Russians blowing up Whyka's rocket.
Since Pie-Arr-Squared under Papa Drop's regime can be best described as an extraterrestrial Nazi Germany, one can only imagine the fate of the Squaries once they no longer served Papa Drop's purpose. It's implied they would be just be starved, beaten and worked to death but it could have been much worse (and probably would have if the movie hadn't been aimed at kids and would have had to be toned down accordingly).
Since Papa Drop's son Roley in Dot in Space knows of the existence of rabbits when the species isn't native to Pie-Arr-Squared, that implies that some previous human/animal (somehow) got stuck on Pie-Arr-Squared before Dot and Whyka and possibly never escaped!
Not that he doesn't deserve it of course but Papa Drop gets overinflated and floats up into space where he’ll likely die from either suffocation or hypothermia or be burned by rays from the nearest star or in the atmosphere of the nearest planet (which might even cause him to expand until he explodes) if he doesn’t get hit by floating debris or even Dot's rocket, or if he's lucky, spend the remainder of his days as a living planet.
After everything Dot has been through in Dot in Space, she's going to have a hard time explaining what happened, because as she admits to Whyka, no one on Earth will believe her. Poor girl's going to need months of therapy to recover from these events, no matter how she ends up explaining what she had to endure.
In Dot in Space, Dot is shown to only be able to communicate with animals native to Australia but can also somehow understand Whyka's barking. This would (sort of) make sense as she previously communicated with animals in Russia in Around the World with Dot.
