Fridge Brilliance

  • While crawling inside Money's trunk to attach the hook to the door, Rocky's terrified expression briefly changes to disgust. This is a subtle Call-Back to her story in the beginning of the film about how her mother would lock her in a car trunk for hours.
  • When the trio first arrive at the Blind Man's home, they're confused about why he would only give the security company one door key when his door has four locks. We later find out that he's keeping a woman locked in his basement, so of course he doesn't want security guards actually getting inside and investigating. He installed the locks after kidnapping her.
  • The keys to the front door all look the same and have identical greyish covers on them. People usually put different-colored covers on similar-looking keys to tell them apart, but of course the Blind Man doesn't bother because he can't see them.

Fridge Horror

  • Alex's dad is about to lose his son, his job, and his reputation all at once. Hope that money was worth it, Rocky.
  • Cindy's family will probably never get closure for what happened to their daughter.
  • The Blind Man tells Rocky that he would have let Cindy Roberts go after she'd given him a child, and that he will do the same for her. But if he wants to keep his new child, he has no reason to let his kidnapping/rape victims go, and every reason not to. He sure had that body disposal space under the floor tiles all ready for Cindy, complete with concrete.
  • Some viewers have speculated that the Blind Man may have been planning to flee and start a new life somewhere else with the new child, which would explain why he's keeping the money in his house rather than a bank. However, even the possibility that the Blind Man was telling the truth opens up more Fridge Horror:
    • Cindy would have had her newborn baby ripped away from her immediately after birth to be raised by the violent kidnapper who forcibly inseminated her.
    • Cindy would have been forced to give birth while chained up in a filthy basement with no modern medical care and no one on hand to help her other than the Blind Man.
    • On top of all those points, remember the Blind Man lost a daughter. What if Cindy gave birth to a boy? Would that be enough to satisfy the Blind Man, or would he have disposed of the child and kept forcing Cindy to get pregnant until she gave him a girl to replace his daughter?
