  • In the episode where the men flee to Portugal and leave the women in charge, the intro is sung by women. In the episode where the effects of the drug epidemic are shown and Avendaño starts campaigning, it is changed to a One-Woman Wail.
  • Esther Lago lingers on Avendaño both before and after she has her car accident, all but spelling that she's responsible for it.
  • While nearly every character is a local, those who come from a privileged background or made career outside tend to speak in Castilian accent rather than Galician, or have a less thick Galician one.^note This is Lost in Translation in the Netflix English dub, which makes everyone speak with a Castilian accent.
