- When the Konni mercs are searching for Makarov's cell inside the gulag, they speak in Surprisingly Good English without slipping their Russian accents until they finally got to Makarov and even speak Russian. As their operation is to make it look like foreign soldiers are trying to barge inside the gulag, allowing Konni to avoid drawing attention from the Kremlin.
