While it sounds cold of Beauty’s brother Nathan to suggest that she let the Beast die of loneliness, it is worth considering that the Beast was originally planning to kill his father for taking a rose. Then he was planning to kill Beauty who stepped in to take her father’s place, but he instead decided to let her live and hoped that she would marry him. So is it any wonder that after his sister has been with the Beast for six months and after trying hard to convince him to let her see her family that Nathan doesn’t feel bad for the guy who took Beauty away?
