Fridge / Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman

Go To

Fridge Brilliance:

  • After Theodore's infection, he gives a much better performance as Mr. Hyde in the school play rehearsal. Stephen King, among others, has cited Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as the archetypal werewolf story.

Fridge Horror:

  • While running from the perceived monster, the Chipmunks trample through Mr. Talbot's flowerbeds. Said flowerbeds contain aconitum, which is toxic to mammals. The Chipmunks are very lucky that they weren't poisoned.
  • This version of Lawrence Talbot had a grandfather who was all but stated to have been also a werewolf, which would mean that his lycanthropy was hereditary. This means that the Talbots have spent their whole lives suffering as werewolves.
