The 3D characters always wear socks even when outside of the house, especially such as Earth 1's remains. They're apparently invincible and never tear, even during battles.
Except that their feet have always remained stiff in the videos. In a Doylist explanation, the animation and overall design is very cheap, especially since everything is made by one person.
