With foreshadowing seemingly being one of Dragonis Prime's favourite things to do, Avengers: Endgame is full of it for both itself and the other stories of the universe.

Internal Foreshadowing

     Chapters 1, 2, and 3

Chapter 1

  • Natasha's first major action in the story is to comfort Steve, planting the seeds of their eventual romance.
  • Strange explains how the Soul Realm works in relation to those killed by the Stones or those who wielded them in life. Wanda later adds that that the presence of two Soul Stones confuses reality, and the soul of anyone who dies having fulfilled either condition will be torn apart.

Chapter 2

  • Peter talks about being a normal teenager 'three years ago'. Cue a three year Time Skip later in the story.
  • Corvus talks to Thanos about using the Time, Soul, and Reality Stones to bring back the fallen members of the Order. Wanda later uses Time to restore Proxima's body, Corvus uses Soul to restore her soul, and Vision is there with the Reality Stone in his forehead.

Chapter 3

  • Strange talks about Robbie Reyes having skills in navigating dimensions. Guess how the Avengers recover the Stones.
  • Steve joins Thor and Beta Ray Bill's discussion about their weapons. Thanks to Eitri, he later gets one of his own in the form of the reforged Mjolnir.

     Chapters 4, 5, and 6

Chapter 4

  • Thor and Beta Ray Bill trade weapons briefly during the fight with Ares, something the Oathbrothers all do in the final battle.
  • On a related note, Beta Ray Bill puts Stormbreaker on Ares' chest to hold him down, something Steve does to Thanos in the final battle.
