'Summer Eleven' is a 2010 live action film about four tween girls trying to spend one last summer together before the jump to middle school in the fall. It was produced by RLJ Entertainment.
This film provides examples of:
- Childhood Memory Demolition Team: At the very beginning of the film, one girl describes how a local zoo was torn down. It can be presumed it hurt a lot of people in the girls' hometown.
- Disappeared Dad: Peri's father is never seen. This is very likely to be the reason why her family doesn't have a house.
- Homeless Hero: To an extent. Peri and her mom live inside their car.
- Long-Distance Relationship: Gerry and his family-to the point where they celebrate his birthday over video chat.
- My Little Phony: At one point, there is a poster on a studio wall which reads "DAPHNE THE MAGIC PONY" above a picture of an orange horse which bears similarities to Applejack.
