Former skier Sophie (Skyler Davenport), who is now blind, books a job to house sit at a remote mansion belonging to a woman named Deborah (Laura Vandervoort). After Deborah leaves, Sophie gets locked out of the house and has to download an app called See For Me that allows her to connect with a sighted person. Army vet Kelly (Jessica Parker Kennedy) shows her how to break into a sliding door. That night, thieves break into the house and start drilling into a vault, prompting Sophie to enlist Kelly's help again to defend herself.

Also starring Kim Coates and Pascal Langdale.

Tropes Present

  • Anti-Hero: Sophie is the main protagonist and isn't exactly a saint; she frequently steals from the people who hire her as a housesitter for extra cash and tries to cut a deal with the thieves, though when that fails she opts to fight them.
  • Bland-Name Product: The app See For Me is based upon real life app Be My Eyes, which connects a user to a sighted volunteer who will describe what they see through the phone's camera.
  • Blind People Wear Sunglasses: Sophie is wearing sunglasses while riding to Deborah's home.
  • Career-Ending Injury: A variation. Sophie does not lose her career as a skier due to an injury, but rather, a disorder that leaves her blind. It's also mentioned that Sophie technically could continue her sports career, albeit with some adjustments to accommodate her disability, but she refuses out of pride. In the end, Sophie changes her mind and decides to start skiing again.
  • Protect This House: Sophie is the only occupant of the mansion when thieves break into it. Through the app, Kelly guides her as she tries to hide from or fight back against the intruders.
