Going by the Book is a 2007 South Korean comedy film featuring Jung Do-Man, a police officer who is such a stickler for rules he writes a ticket to the new Chief of Police. When a string of bank robberies hits the town of Sampo, the new Chief decides to hold a training exercise—and selects Do-Man as the robber. Not satisfied to simply put on a show for the media, he instead puts his meticulous nature to work, to plan the perfect "crime".

- By-the-Book Cop - Do-Man is introduced when he gives a ticket for an illegal turn—to the newly appointed Chief of Police. Later in the movie he's seen paying a speeding camera ticket that he got during a high-speed chase.
