Falling for Christmas is a holiday Romantic Comedy by Netflix.
It stars Lindsay Lohan (in one of her first lead film roles in about a decade) as resort heiress Sierra Belmont, who loses her memory following an accident while being proposed to. She winds up in the care of handsome bed and breakfast owner and widower Jake Russell (Chord Overstreet), who had recently hoped Sierra's family would invest in his Northstar Lodge. Naturally, sparks fly even as Sierra begins to regain her memory. Meanwhile, Sierra's fiance Tad (George Young) manages to make his way back to the Belmont lodge after forming a friendship with a local recluse, Ralph (Sean J Dillingham), all to the chagrin of Sierra's father Beauregard (Jack Wagner).

- Bonding over Missing Parents: Jake is a widower, and his daughter Avy confesses to Sierra that she misses her mother deeply. Sierra is amnesiac but this starts to trigger memories of her own mom, and she is able to bond with the girl as a result.
