Moe: Brighto, Brighto, makes old bodies new!
Larry: We'll sell a million bottles!
Curly: Woob WOOB-woob-woob-WOOB-woob-WOOB!
Dizzy Doctors is the 21st of the 97 shorts made by the Moe/Larry/Curly incarnation of The Three Stooges. Here, the Stooges are lazy and unemployed husbands whose wives threaten to throw them out of their home if they don't find work. After several false starts, they land a job selling bottles of Brighto — and naturally, Hilarity Ensues while they try to hawk the stuff.

Examples:

  • Chase Scene: In the Los Arms Hospital, the Stooges re-encounter Harry Arms, the man whose car they ruined; he's the director of the hospital where they're trying to sell bottles of Brighto. The boys frantically run through the hospital trying to escape him and the hospital personnel.
  • Harmful Healing: Strongly implied about Brighto, the product the Stooges are trying to sell. Despite not knowing what it's used for, the trio runs out to try and interest strangers in their product. They do so by passing it off as a spot remover for clothing (it eats the fabric off a policeman's coat), shoe polish (it eats through the leather), and automobile cleaner (it strips the paint off). When the Stooges head back to their boss complaining that the product doesn't work well, he indignantly states that it's medicine! One wonders what might have happened to anyone unfortunate enough to take the stuff. It doesn't seem to bother Curly when he samples it, though.
  • I Ate WHAT?!: Curly eats a bar of soap during breakfast, which he mistakes as cheese. When Moe points this out to him, he responds:
Curly: I thought it tasted kinda strong. (takes back the soap and resumes eating it)
  • Improvisational Ingenuity: At the end of the short, the Stooges finally manage to escape the hospital on a gurney, unfurling a bedsheet as a sail to help their progress along once they get outside.
  • Scooby-Dooby Doors: At one point, the final Chase Scene shows the Stooges and their pursuers rapidly running between a bank of opposing doors.
  • Shout-Out: A few examples.
    • Moe's line "Hello, everybody. We just brought the moon over the mountain" is a reference to the Kate Smith hit song "When the Moon Comes over the Mountain."
    • Curly's line "Hello, ma! Hello, pa! It wasn't much of a fight! I stood like this — but not for long..." is a spoof of boxer Jim Corbett's observation right after his bout with Peter Jackson: "Hello, ma. Hello, pa. It was a great fight. I hope the decision won't put me in the doghouse."
