Charlie's Farm is a 2014 Australian slasher film about four horror seeking youths who plot a road trip to an abandoned farm which is believed to be haunted, as many people who have visited the area in the past have gone missing. Once they arrive there, they become the prey of Charlie, a gigantic, mentally handicapped, murderous cannibal.
This film contains examples of:
- The Cameo: Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley show up in minor roles.
- Hillbilly Horrors: Charlie. He doesn't live in the hills, he lives in the Australian bush, but he's the last scion of a family of primitive, violent, hillbilly-like locals known for their cannibalistic ways.
- Tom the Dark Lord: "Charlie" isn't exactly the most frightening name for a cannibalistic serial killer.
- Too Dumb to Live: Mick is skinny-dipping when he sees Charlie on the shore. He gets out, stands before him (seemingly not realizing that he's facing a huge, scary monster) and insults him. Mick is naked and doesn't have any weapons; it comes as no surprise when Charlie offs him with one swing of his machete.
