Causeway is a 2022 American drama directed by Lila Neugebauer and starring Jennifer Lawrence (who was also a producer on the film) and Brian Tyree Henry. It was released in theaters by A24 and given a streaming release on Apple TV+.
The movie follows Lynsey (Lawrence) who is a U.S. soldier forced to return home after an IED explosion left her with a brain injury. As she improves her rehabilitation, she forms an unlikely friendship with James (Henry), an auto mechanic.
Henry received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for the film.
