These are recommendations made by tropers for Slay the Princess fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. After a few samples, you will be able to note the interests of the tropers recommending them, and judge whether you might be also interested in a certain 'fic.

Reviews of fics are encouraged, but if you choose to write one, please make it substantive, and give specific details about what you liked / disliked in the fic. If you want to give a fic a thumbs-up without writing a full review, you can add your troper handle to the Recommendations Line. Please refrain from posting "Comments" or Conversation in the Main Page though; that goes in the discussion page.

Crossovers

The Fury of a Shattered Mirror by ASpooky (Link)

• Synopsis: A crossover between Slay the Princess and Disco Elysium, written in the style of Disco Elysium - yes, that includes skill checks. A long, incredibly ambitious story that finds every possible link between the stories - from amnesiac protagonists with heads full of voices, to a greater force of forgetting and dissolution - and lays them out by trapping Du Bois in the Construct. Want to combine the mechanics of both games? Want to see the Specter possession scene drawn out and made more complicated? Want to see well-observed original Chapter Three Princess variants? Want to see the Narrator getting his way sometimes and sometimes getting outrageously frustrated? Do you like Interface Screw? You don't have to know everything about Disco Elysium to understand this fic, when the Pale comes up it is explained, but it helps to at least have watched some of the (dialogue-based) gameplay. The story is still ongoing.

• Synopsis: Set long after the game's events, they've brought the Narrator back (with conditions attached), and he's going to learn the hard way about what he put you and the Princess through. The vessels, now armed with meta-knowledge, confront him face to face.
