Fanfic Recs / My Hero Academia O Cs And Reader Insert Fics

Go To

Proof that the remaining 10% is worth Going Beyond, Plus Ultra! for here.

These are recommendations made by tropers for My Hero Academia fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. After a few samples, you will be able to note the interests of the tropers recommending them, and judge whether you might be also interested in a certain 'fic.

Feel free to add a fanfic of your own to the list, but remember to use the template found herenote . Do warn when a fanfic may head into sexualnote  or non-canon territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, Shipping is Serious Business.

Reviews of fics are enfcouraged, but if you choose to write one, please make it substantive, and give specific details about what you liked / disliked in the fic. If you want to give a fic a thumbs-up without writing a full review, you can add your troper handle to the Recommendations Line. Please refrain from posting "Comments" or Conversation in the Main Page though; that goes in the discussion page.

    • Synospsis: Era doesn't have high hopes for her future. Truthfully, up until a few months ago there hasn't been a future; just the blurry promise of suffering to come. The journey from villain to ex-villain to vigilante has been... rough, to put it mildly. But Era can handle it. The journey from vigilante to hero-in-training? That, she has less of a grasp on. Era doesn't consider herself to be optimistic, but she is confident in her skills and her quirk, sure that her training will carry her through anything UA has to throw at her, and that in turn UA will keep her protected from the shadowy figures of her past, the threat that lurks in the corner of her eye.
If only heroes weren't so god damned nosy, stubborn, persistent. If only she could remember to keep her useless emotions in check, avoid any unnecessary attachment, save herself and others from future pain. If only her quirk would just let her die. Funny, how that would make things so much simpler.

    • Synopsis: If that was a normal fanfiction, she would have been reincarnated fifteen years before the beginning of the Plot, so she could join class 1-A (hopefully taking Mineta Minoru’s spot) and save the world side by side with her friends. She would have been on the Good Guys’ side from birth, because everyone loved heroes and every child aspired to be one. Right? Well, someone in the Reincarnation’s Administration must have screwed up. Because not only was she born a good seven years in advance, but she had been reincarnated in a family with enough issues to put the Todoroki to shame. But hey, she could teleport. She wasn't exactly going to complain about it, right?
    • Summary : follows the story of Toki Taiyōme, an OC SI born a few years before class 1-A, from her childhood in a family of villains to her path towards heroism. Worldbuilding, adventure, action, emotion, friendship. The HPSC is shady but firmly on the good guys' side.

  • Sypnosis: being reborn into a world of quirks wasn't really what she was expecting, but hey, might as well help these characters have better endings. Although that goal might be a bit hard to achieve when you get kidnapped atleast 3 times by the villains you accidentally make meaningful connections with. But hey, the simp in you is thriving, and you get a little sister that judges the way you're thirsting over your sleep-deprived hobo of a teacher. Well, I guess it's time to change history.
  • Summary: a girl gets reincarnated into the world of my hero academia, an Anime she's seen before. Follow her as she tries to make changes, simps to her hearts content, collect some trauma and acquire her own simps left and right.
