• Summary: A series of fanfics serving as a sequel to the original series. Set in the late 90s and early 2000s, the premise is that, following the events of “The Sentry”, Kolchak was nearly fired , but was instead transferred to New York. After several years of dealing with normal stories, Kolchak is back at dealing with the supernatural, battling demons, Japanese ghosts, Yetis, and the Devil himself.
• Comments: The series has a real Original Flavor, and Kolchak and Vincenzo remain perfectly in character. The supporting cast, consisting of a returning Gordy the Ghoul, a helpful NYPD detective, and a higher up repeatedly (and hilariously) harassed by Kolchak are all as memorable as the supporting characters in the original. It should be noted, however, that the series is Darker and Edgier and Bloodier and Gorier than the original series.
