- Synopsis: In a world where Equus has been swallowed by a new ice age, the last surviving citizens of Equestria eke out a desperate existence. Ponies like Rarity understand that The City Must Survive, but will the cost of their survival be too high a price for some to bear?
- Comments: It seems that the right author can make even a "ponified" story good. This fic drops the reader into a ground-level view of the world of Frostpunk, fused with My Little Pony and witnessed through the eyes of one of the latter's main characters. Even disregarding that, the author pulls no punches in depicting the desperation, misery, and abject terror experienced by those caught in this bone-chilling apocalyptic world.
