- Synopsis: Paige and Cyril are a bit of an odd pair. She's a Riverlands pegasus traveling to Equestria. He's a griffon soldier in the Reichsarmee trying to live up to the family name. But when they meet, it seems like they might be able to move past those differences and make it work. Except this is the year 1007 ALB, the year of great change in the world. And the only way these two are going to stay anywhere near in contact is through their letters for the next ten years, through multiple wars, occupation, POW camps and the insanity of the world itself.

What was once a mighty people and nation, deticated to honourable values is now nothing more than a splintered and impoverished land. Gallus, an orphan born into these dark times, dreams of old tales and legends. When Gryphonstone had a king, when the Idol of Boreas brought his people pride and hope. But the Idol is lost. Gallus believes that finding it may be the only way to restore Gryphonstone back to it's former glory.

Led by the pitiless monster Eisen Silberkrone, these griffons have come to wipe out the ponies and build their thousand year empire atop their graves. What they did not count on, however, was that River Swirl, a former student under Celestia herself, had reached out to other species as well as ponies, offering them the hoof of friendship. Now, in this dark moment, that friendship is tested.

The Griffonian Empire, the sole power that could rival the Solar Empire in terms of strength, has been aiding its former colony in its war against Daybreaker. The Griffons are fearful of the Solar Empire gaining territory in the Griffonian continent, while the Solarists increase their paranoia of the Griffonian Empire directly intervening in the conflict. As tensions grow, the fate of the world hangs on a thread.

- Synopsis: Lilac didn't consider herself the leader type. And yet here she was, overseeing the vast city of Manehatten and the surrounding provinces. Years ago, after Equestria was conquered, Chrysalis had personally put her in charge of the shining city.
But Lilac soon learned that the ponies of Manehatten wouldn't give up their freedom even after the war was lost. Riots and uprisings were commonplace, and Lilac had her hooves full for years trying to put out the fires. Eventually, after countless promises, reforms, and policies enacted, she had finally gotten most of the ponies to see her not as a tyrant, but as the Protectress she claimed to be.
But the pony resistance was an ever present thorn in her side. Never quitting, never losing hope that one day Equestria could be free again. Thankfully for Lilac, she had managed to pull off something she thought impossible.

For Flurry Heart, last true Princess of Ponies, Equestria's only hope for liberation may lie with the brutal and draconian Griffonian Reich, newly unified under the fledgling-Kaiser Grover VI.
