You Had Your Chance To Help Years Ago And You Blew It is a Miraculous Ladybug / Justice League crossover fic that can be found here.

When Hawkmoth started sending akumas, the citizens of Paris tried to ask for the Justice League's help but the leaguer who answered their calls dismissed them as pranks and blocked them without informing the rest of the League, who remained oblivious to the whole thing until Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne travel to Paris for unrelated reasons. By then, Paris and its heroes are reluctant to trust the Justice League.

There's also a story titled You Blew It AU: Social Media that shows the social media's reaction to the Justice League finally working with the Miraculous heroes.

This fanfic contains examples of:

  • Adaptational Jerkass: One of the story tags is "Alya Cesaire bashing" and it delivers by taking the "Salt Fic" standard of making her loyal to Lila Rossi and her lies and (after several years of this) turning her into a J. Jonah Jameson Expy, constantly decrying the inefficiency of the Miraculous wielders no matter how unjustified those accusations are. Everybody else in the cast who is not Rossi loathes her and call her a tabloid reporter.
  • Arbitrary Skepticism: With everything else the Justice League faced, it's hard for the Miraculous heroes to believe the League would dismiss the akuma attacks as pranks even with the justification that Ladybug's power undoes the damages.
  • Cassandra Truth: Guy Gardner still hasn't appeared in the story, but his apparent mentality for ghosting the requests for League support in France go like this: there's a request for League support in Paris, but Ladybug's powers allow her to repair Akuma attack damage after purifying it. So no collateral damage still apparent means no attack actually happened means the requests Gardner intercepted are all "prank calls".
  • Contrived Coincidence: The fact that every single time there was a request for League assistance from Paris that involved an Akuma attack, Guy Gardner was on monitor duty and consistently dismissed them all as prank calls.
  • Crimefighting with Cash: Batman using expensive equipment to fight crime leads the Miraculous heroes to figuring out his identity.
  • For Want Of A Nail: Had the Leaguer who received Paris' calls for help not dismissed them as pranks, the Justice League would've helped from the start.
  • Genre Savvy: The Miraculous heroes manage to figure out Superman's and Batman's secret identities by noticing how the former is close to Clark's wife and how the latter must be rich in order to finance his crimefighting.
  • Hero of Another Story: Guy Gardner being on a mission by the time Hal Jordan tells the League he's the one who ignored the calls from Paris is the reason they have to delay punishment.
  • Hero with Bad Publicity: The Justice League is this in Paris for ignoring the town's calls for their help.
  • Legacy Character: Queen Hippolyta is a former Ladybug.
  • Late to the Action: Downplayed. The League was unaware of the akuma situation for so long because the Miracle Cure left no collateral damage, leading to Guy Gardner misinterpret the calls for help as prank calls. They only figure out how bad things are a long time after the attacks started, leaving most of Paris bitter that they choose to help now.
  • Mistaken for Prank Call: It takes years for the Justice League to get involved because the calls for help were answered by someone who dismissed them as pranks.
  • Poor Communication Kills: Had Guy at least told Wonder Woman about the akuma attacks, the Justice League would know they're real because Wonder Woman's mother is a former Ladybug.
  • The Reveal: Chapter 5 reveals to the readers and most of the League that it was Guy Gardner who ignored Paris' calls for help.
