- Alternate Identity Amnesia: Zigzagged. Phoebe usually has no recollection of anything that happens whenever her alter ego, Libby takes over. However, when they're both fighting for control at the same time, she usually can hear what she says. Humorously, Phoebe/Libby confuses Sunny by constantly switching the vote target.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Liz is this most of the time, tricking and sabotaging the other contestants while pretending cute and innocent.
- Breather Episode: The minisodes serve as this as it focuses on one or two contestants during the free time between the regular episodes
- Butt-Monkey: Guy. Not only does he get eliminated first, but almost everyone else in the cast either loathes him or not take him seriously. He also suffers a lot from the female contestants, especially from Liz.
