The Raven of Crystal Cove
is a crossover between Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated and Teen Titans by Epiclot214.
Rachel Roth was the resident weird goth girl of Crystal Cove. But when her demonic dreams lead her to an adventure of epic proportions, she must work with a team of teenagers and a talking dog to solve the greatest mystery in the world. And who is also there to help? Why, a certain green animal shapeshifter, of course.
- Adaptational Wimp: Raven/Rachel. Usually Raven is able to face monsters like the Slime Mutant without even breaking a sweat. Here? Since Raven still has yet to fully discover her magic, she’s much more vulnerable.
- Big "NO!": When Raven wakes up from her nightmare.
- Cliffhanger: In addition to Mystery Inc receiving the warning from Mr. E about the locket they found, and their new friendship with Rachel, the first chapter ends with an exhausted and mud covered Beast Boy suddenly arrives and passes out before them.
- The Empath: When Rachel touches the locket Daphne found, she briefly sees a flashback of the very couple in the picture.
- Missing Main Character: The Doom Patrol, along with Beast Boy, were Crystal Cove's superheroes, until they became victims of the infamous curse and disappeared without a trace.
- Mythology Gag: The first chapter is called The Mystery Begins.
- Velma calls Rachel = Raven.
- Plagued by Nightmares: Rachel has been having recurring nightmares about the town of Crystal Cove being destroyed. And according to Velma, Beast Boy apparently suffered recurring nightmares as well.
- The Sixth Ranger: Rachel ends up joining the Gang near the end of the first chapter.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Rachel calls out Sheriff Bronson Stone twice for his callousness in regarding a crime scene as a tourist attraction and when he blames the Gang for stopping Professor Rafflo and costing Crystal Cove a new stream revenue, telling him that the town's economy would've been in peril. Unfortunately, he just brushes her off.
