The Quirkless Hero: Dekiru is a My Hero Academia Alternate Universe Fic written by author Sapphiria that follows Izuku's life as a teenage Pro Hero, despite being completely Quirkless. With enemies around the corner and a job as a Quirk counselor at U.A., it's bound to be a rough ride.

The Quirkless Hero: Dekiru provides examples of...
- Adaptational Badass: While canon Izuku received his power from All Might, Dekiru trained himself to become a hero and while he did have help and support from both his parents, he can definitely take care of himself.
- Adaptational Personality Change: Dekiru is more confident and sure of himself than his canon counterpart right off the bat. A lot of this has to do with the fact that his mother was supportive of him from the very beginning and never once told him that he couldn't be a hero.
- The narrative compares Dekiru to a "sane Deadpool," but quickly reaffirms that he is a "hero, not an anti-hero."
- Adaptational Superpower Change: Instead of Izuku receiving One For All, Shinsou is chosen as the next holder. As such, Izuku does not have One For All in this fic, while Shinsou has both One For All and his original Quirk.
- Affectionate Nickname: Dekiru refers to All Might as "Mighty Man" whilst fighting a villain together.
- Back-to-Back Badasses: When faced with a villain in a hostage situation, Dekiru and All Might work together to apprehend him. They are successful.
- Badass Normal: As the name suggests, Deku here has no Quirk, and yet he's considered one of the most popular and competent heroes around for a reason.
- Casual Danger Dialogue: Dekiru is usually very casual when he shows up at the scene of a crime and will start talking almost immediately.
- Point of Divergence: On the day Izuku learned he was Quirkless, Inko believed he could still be a hero.
- Telescoping Staff: Dekiru's main weapon of choice is a retractable staff that can be lengthened and shortened as he wills.
- Younger Than They Look: The U.A. staff approaches Dekiru to offer him a job teaching at U.A. However, Dekiru declines, revealing that he's actually 14 years old and that he cannot legally be hired for the job. Afterwards, he is offered to join the U.A. staff as a Quirk counselor for their students, and he accepts.
