The Owl House Transformers AU
is, as the title says, a crossover AU reimagining characters from The Owl House in the setting of Transformers with a trilogy of stories planned.
In the first story of the AU, Rising Prime, Luz is a young Cybertronian living on Cybertron after the Autobot victory over the Decepticons. She's training to be a member of the Elite Guard, but she's an outcast at the academy, with no one ever following her orders in training simulations. Thrown back in time to the earliest ages of her people's history after an encounter with Skywarp, Luz finds herself caught up in a plot by the Decepticons to change the past of their race, but she might finally make some friends while she's there.
- Adaptational Species Change: All the characters are now various flavors of Cybertronians, as the story now takes place on Cybertron.
- All There in the Manual: The start of each chapter has a glossary of relevant terms for readers unfamiliar with the Transformers side of the crossover.
- One chapter consists of nothing but a map of the territories of Cybertron at the time the story is set.
- Fish out of Temporal Water: Luz is somehow sent into Cybertron's very distant past, to an era when the original Primes were still around, and before Beastformers went extinct.
- The Magic Goes Away: In this universe it used to be that Cybertronians were all born with a "Mystic Core", basically their equivalent of a witch's bile sac in canon, but by the present Luz comes from the trait has disappeared, with Luz apparently having never even heard of it despite being a history buff.
- Make Wrong What Once Went Right: There's apparently a Decepticon plot to change the past, but what exactly they're trying to achieve is unclear.
- Science Fantasy: The Transformers franchise is no stranger to the odd mystical element, but in the era of the Thirteen spellcasting is as common as Cybertron as in the canon Boiling Isles.
