The Enchanted Kingdom
is a My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic Alternate Universe Fic by Monochromatic and is the sequel to The Enchanted Library.
It's easy to think about fairytales when you’re an ancient alicorn trapped in a library for centuries on end. It's easy to wonder how one would go about rescuing you, to think and devise and plot out how to free you in a blaze of glory, intrigue, adventure, and romance.
Or, rather, it’s easy until suddenly it happens and you’re forced to ask yourself the one terrifying question you’d yet to consider.

See also the short spinoff story Constellations, which takes place between Act I ~ 03 and Act I ~ 04, but in an alternate universe where the characters are human. Monochromatic confirmed that something very similar happened in the main story's universe, however.

The Enchanted Kingdom contains examples of:
- All Myths Are True: After Princess Twilight broke free from the library, the race is now on to find the remaining princesses.
- Damsel out of Distress: Twilight was able to rescue herself from the Library, but this also applies to Rarity, who was proceeding with her plan to save the other princesses regardless of Twilight's absence.
- Her Own Worst Enemy: Even after overcoming herself to escape the Library, Twilight can't help but feel bad thoughts asserting themselves every once in a while.
- How We Got Here: The story starts with a pony named North Ridge encountering Rarity in a bar, with the entire kingdom looking for her. She tells him her story.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Twilight, Rarity, and Pinkie come up with a plan to free Princess Luna - by getting all the foals in Hollow Shades to believe in her strongly enough to overcome the chaos magic imprisoning her. It completely backfires; the foals start losing their belief and having nightmares, and the magic transforms Luna into Nightmare Moon.
