- A year later Izuku helps Fumikage Tokoyami hide from Katsuki, and they become friends
- For Want Of A Nail:
- Instead of being born quirkless, Izuku is born with a luck-based quirk.
- During the UA Entrance Exam Izuku was deemed too reckless and only received 20 Hero Points, thus failing to pass the exam. This leads Izuku and his friends to become vigilantes instead of heroes.
