- Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: Despite the many changes Edward makes, his memory of the future stays the same.
- Worthless Yellow Rocks: Edward and Alphonse give one of Van Hohenheim's journals to the Chang clan and since it was written by someone who's ancient and revered in Xing, many of the clans attempt to steal it and it's highly coveted. To the Elric's themselves, though, it's one of dozens they own and their father can always just write more.
