Region Trotters
is a Pokémon "Send Your Own Character" series created by CoGreen20. Eighteen characters, representing each Pokémon type, are submitted per season and placed into a Reality Television competition set in the Pokémon universe- the prize: Regional Championship! Typically, the story is released in an episodic structure mimicking that of a real-world Reality Television show, and written in script format.
Intermittent chapters are released between episodes as the "Aftershow" of each challenge, and feature a talk-show esque format where the first-eliminated contestant of each season co-hosts and interviews the eliminated contestants.
The series has currently finished with the release of Hoenn Havoc. CoGreen20 has no stated plans to continue the series onwards. A side-series, Region Trotters: Unova Uproar is under development.
- Hurricane of Puns: In the first episode, Chris introduces every competitor by making a pun off of their preferred Pokémon type.
