Not Long Enough is a Lost Episode creepypasta of Futurama, written by the same person who wrote the Simpsons creepypasta Dead Bart.

The story describes an unaired episode of Futurama that was written singlehandedly by Matt Groening at his own insistence, where Leela and Bender are angry at Fry for some misdeed he's done, and Fry ends up freezing himself and decaying.

The story contains examples of:

  • After the End: It is implied that Earth and every other planet have had most of their populations wiped out, as Fry, Leela and Bender are the only main characters seen, Earth and the planet they make a delivery to are in ruins and the alien they visit on the other planet is the only other individual seen in the episode.
  • Art Shift: Fry's corpse is drawn in the same hyper-realistic style as that used for Bart's corpse in Dead Bart.
  • Cryonics Failure: Fry freezes himself again, which ends up killing him and has parts of his body decaying because of the cryogenics chamber not working properly.
  • Driven to Suicide: Fry, Leela and Bender are delivering knives to people so they can use them to stab themselves. Fry himself ends up killing himself by re-freezing himself after his falling out with Leela and Bender.
  • Speak Ill of the Dead: After Fry's death, Leela states that he got what he deserved.
  • The Unreveal: It's never explained what it was Fry did that caused Leela and Bender to permanently distrust him.
