Moemon Adventures: Kanto is a story created by Tegami Bachi 25 and is a retelling of the Pokémon series, following the adventures of Ash Ketchum. The difference? All the Pokémon are Moemon, female humanoid creatures, based off the fan game concept that reworks every Pokémon into a female humanoid.

This story provides examples of:
- Adaptational Alternate Ending: During the events of Mewtwo Strikes Back, Ash is killed by Mewtwo's and Mew's combined attack. However, the classic ending to the movie that most Pokemon fans know goes entirely different.
- Adaptational Badass: Implied with Ash's two other starters, who are now in their middle-stage evolutions (Ivysaur and Wartortle) instead of their first-stage ones (Bulbasaur and Squirtle).
- Bludgeoned to Death: Ash's Charizard, in the height of their battle with her clone, Charizardtwo, proceeds to smash and cave her skull in.
- Dark Fic: Explicitly stated in the title and Author Notes that the story is a darker retelling, making it an AU of a AU, as the Moemon retelling is already an AU itself of Pokemon. Ash's death, Pikachu's rape, and Mewtwo's plan of genocide and enslavement for the human race is a few of how dark the story is, along with the stated deaths of characters in future chapters.
- The Hero Dies: To put simply, Ash dies in this fanfic and unlike the first movie, he doesn't get revived by tears of Pokemon.
- Unstoppable Rage: Ash's death triggers and makes Pikachu snap, who proceeds to violently attack Mewtwo for the death of her Trainer, even as going so far to attack her friends and allies for attempting to stop her. She blames Mew as well for allowing this to happen, as well as many other actions. She would have continued if not for Serena, who was the only one able to coax Pikachu to stop.
- We Used to Be Friends: Pikachu, following Ash's death and noticing Charizard's arrival, is hostile towards Charizard. Short flashbacks however imply that their relationship was different prior to Charizard's evolution to Charmeleon, where their relationship deteriorated to where it was now.
