Loud Mermaids
is a The Loud House fanfic created by Smoking Wrecker.
It follows an AU in which Lincoln is the only child of Lynn Sr., who's expected to marry a woman named Rita, them and friends of theirs residing in Orlando, Florida. She reveals to Lincoln that she and her nine daughters are mermaids, and takes her with him to Atlantis to bond with them and the other inhabitants of one of the seven kingdoms of the sea, besides the following: Aztuic, Frostjn, Geygia, Telin, Hipponea, and Clari. He discovers some friends of his being merfolk on accident, like Ronnie Anne, and meets her family. Original ideas were her being half merfolk and living with her mother and several relatives while her brother Bobby resides with Arturo, who would be the king of a kingdom similar to Aquaman in the DCEU. Wrecker changed his mind and went with Rodimus 973's idea for Ronnie Anne and all of her family being merfolk like the Atlanteans, though Maria and Ronnie Anne would reside on the surface while the rest of the family would reside in Aztuic. Challenges arrive with some of Rita's daughters loathing humans, some merfolk planning coup d'etats on Rita to start wars against and kill off humankind, and some humans poaching or exposing the existence of merfolk.
