Onwards, my brothers! To Glory, To Victory!

Have you ever wondered what would happen if Midoriya Izuku actually had someone backing him up? Or better yet, an army of brothers?

Legion is a My Hero Academia and Star Wars: The Clone Wars story written by Laterna_Eternal on Archive of Our Own and Fanfiction.net. It is an ongoing series that began in January 17th, 2022. The story is about the main character, Midoriya Izuku, and its plot loosely follows the canon My Hero Academia. Most of its changes are mostly interaction, character development and world building due to the new additions.

One of the new additions is his new quirk, the name of which is the name of the story, Legion. He has a Sealed Army in a Can of Clone Troopers within his headspace that he could summon.

With this new addition, it also introduces new original characters for the story, some of which are based on the Clone Wars TV show. While being original and fresh concepts with some major inspirations, it also feels like a new take on old characters, putting their own spin on things and it is done extremely well. This story does a fresh take on the "Confident Midoriya" and does it well, it doesn't feel forced or out of nowhere because the character development is so natural. Everything plot thread and interaction feels like it's supposed/meant to happen, never forced.

The story also introduces elements such as Mando'a, the language of the Mandalorians, into the story. As well as having a side story spin-off based around the daily lives of the clones called...Daily Lives of the Clones.

    List of Tropes
  • Sealed Army in a Can: If it wasn't obvious already, he has a portable army in his headspace that he can summon at anytime. This headspace also includes a training center, mess hall, armory, weapons depot, etc...
  • Walking Armory: This comes from the fact that the weapons his clones use were produced in his headspace. He is also able to summon a Z-6 Rotary Cannon from said headspace in the Sports Festival.
  • His Quirk Lives On: This technically doesn't count as this happens before Jango's death, but it becomes more prominent after Jango's death. Izuku and the Clones would sometimes refer to each other using Mando'a, this does spread to more of the main cast such as All Might and Inko.
  • Adaptational Personality Change: Because he has a Quirk since childhood, and due to Jango's influence on him, Izuku is more confident and more expressive here contrasting canon.
  • Adaptational Name Change: Instead of going with Deku as his hero name, he instead chooses to go by Mand'alor. With many reasoning and subtle meanings as to why he chose this, some of which you'll understand right away, some of which you'll need to read to find out.
  • Power Armor: Izuku has his Hero Costume, which is basically a set of Power Armor. Then we have the clones with their Clone Armor, not even mentioning the different type of clones and their different types of armor.
  • Ascended Extra: Compared to canon, students of 1-B have a much greater presence as they have more screentime and interact with 1-A much more frequently outside of school events. Especially Itsuka, who is in a relationship with Thorn.
