Legacy
is a Marvel Cinematic Universe fanfic where Peggy Carter learns she is pregnant with Steve Rogers (aka Captain America's) child and raises her child. Covers the events of Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as the first season of Agent Carter.
This fanfic is completed and has a sequel known as "All the Time in the World" where Captain America has been unfrozen.

- Ascended Extra: The Howling Commandos have more of a presence in the story than in Agent Carter.
- Assassin Outclassin': Peggy overpowers a Hydra agent who attacks her in her hotel room.
- Blackmail: Dottie forces Peggy to comply with Leviathan by threatening both Sarah (by threatening to put her in the Red Room) and with the information that Sarah is the daughter of Captain America. Heck, the chapter in which it happens is called "Blackmail".
- Continuity Nod: Chapter 2 has Peggy leaving an interrogation room after capturing Werner Reinhardt.
- Dead Guy Junior: Peggy names Sarah for Steve's mother.
- Doomed by Canon: Agent Ray Krzeminski dies the same way as in canon at Dottie's hands.

- Parental Abandonment: Defied with Dooley being extremely reluctant to let Peggy go to Russia because she has an infant daughter and he is unwilling to let Sara grow up an orphan. He backs down when Peggy gets the Howling Commandos to join her.
- Secret Legacy: Peggy decides to keep her daughter's identity secret outside of telling Colonel Phillips, Howard Stark, and the Howling Commandos.
- Shame If Something Happened: Dottie threatens to put Sarah in the Red Room if Peggy does not comply with Leviathan.
- Someone to Remember Him By: The basic premise is that Peggy and Steve had sex after Peggy found him trying to get drunk after Bucky was lost and Peggy became pregnant from that encounter.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Chief Dooley doesn't get hypnotized into putting on a suicide vest since Peggy is able to get in contact with the Howling Commandos.
- Wham Line: In Chapter 11, Peggy comes back from work to pick up Sarah from Mary, but Mary tells her that Dottie already came to pick her up.
