Hunger is a Zootopia Fanfic by Bug_53.
After struggling to stomach Nick eating meat, Judy becomes frustrated and wishes she could eat the same things Nick could eat, so that situations like this wouldn't happen. That night, a mysterious voice offers to grant her wish, and while skeptical, she agrees just to shut them up. Next morning, she finds that not only is meat suddenly appealing to her, it is the best thing she's ever tasted. Everything seems to be looking up, but as time goes on, Judy's thoughts are increasingly consumed by a desire for meat, and no matter how much she eats, she never quite feels full.
According to Word of God, Hunger was inspired by a number of one-shot fan fics where Judy tries meat and likes it, and they wanted to put a new spin on it, eventually getting the idea of her liking it a little too much for her own good.

Hunger provides examples of:
- Be Careful What You Wish For: Essentially the crux of the story. Judy wants to be able to eat meat, and gets it, only for it to consume her from the inside out
- Happens again to Nick, when he tells the wish granter that he wants this whole mess forgotten. The wish granter removes the curse, as well as Judy's memories of him
- Bittersweet Ending: Judy is freed of her Horror Hunger, but has lost her memories of Nick in the process. Nick decides to make the best of it, and restart their friendship from scratch, which she agrees to, with the implication that her memories might not be gone for good.
- Here We Go Again!: The final chapter ends with Finnick getting a call from the wish granter after wishing he were taller.
- Horror Hunger: What Judy's newfound desire for meat ultimately turns out to be. In fact, acting on it actually seems to make it worse.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Nick becomes worried that something isn't right when he sees Judy's sudden reversal of opinion regarding meat, which becomes worse when he sees her repeatedly wolf down large servings of meat and still want more.
- Warm Bloodbags Are Everywhere: By chapter 6, Judy's Horror Hunger has gotten so bad that she starts seeing the mammals around her as various meaty delicacies.
- Wham Shot: In Chapter 5, Judy looks in the mirror and discovers that she has canine teeth.
