GATE: Of Dragons and a Spirit of Fire

After the events of Halo Wars, the crew of the Spirit of Fire finds themselves above the orbit of a unknown world without any clue as to where they are and what brought them here. Faced with a new obstacle, the crew of the Spirit of Fire descends upon the world where they meet new allies and enemies, along with an relic of the past, as they try to find a way back home.

- No Kill like Overkill: Itami notes that the Longswords basically gunned down the Fire Dragon with tank rounds after the JSDF get to investigate its corpse.
- Normal Fish in a Tiny Pond: The Spirit of Fire is hardly the most powerful UNSC ship out there in Halo canon, but it is more than powerful enough to make the Empire and Japan look like mere ants in the setting of Gate.
